To ensure greater safety and stability during product use, it is essential to strictly adhere to the safety management system and relevant usage requirements to prevent accidents. Now, let’s join the little editor of the hydrocarbon cleaner as we explore the key precautions and requirements for vacuum hydrocarbon cleaning machines.

Vacuum Hydrocarbon Cleaning Machine Environmental adaptation requirements:

  1. The operating temperature must not exceed 40°C.

  2. The humidity around the equipment should be 75% and must not be too dry.

  3. The cleanroom shall be ventilated. (If there is no air circulation, the ventilation system shall handle more than 20,000 cubic meters per hour.)

  4. The exhaust system of the vacuum hydrocarbon cleaning machine should be connected to the outdoors. (Exhaust system: 2200 m³/h)

  5. Within a 5-meter radius of the equipment, explosion-proof lighting fixtures and explosion-proof electrical appliances shall be installed.

  6. To avoid overheating and safety hazards, it is strictly prohibited to expose the equipment to direct sunlight.

  7. No fire or dust generation is allowed within a 5-meter radius around the equipment.

  8. The user should directly install the power supply (equipment power box) and mount an air circuit breaker at a location 1.5 meters away from the equipment and 1.6 meters above the ground. (This facilitates cutting off the power supply during equipment maintenance.) If there is a dedicated main electrical cabinet, it should be located 5 meters away from the on-site equipment.

  9. The chiller should be installed within 3 to 5 meters of the cleaning equipment and equipped with an exhaust pipe system.

Vacuum Hydrocarbon Cleaning Machine Safety and fire protection requirements:

  1. It is strictly prohibited to bring sources of ignition, such as lighters, into the equipment area for site cleanup. The flow of ignition sources and open-flame operations must be strictly controlled.

  2. The cleaning site is equipped with two 35-kg wheeled dry powder fire extinguishers and firefighting supplies (such as masks and goggles).

  3. The equipment is equipped with an automatic carbon dioxide dry powder fire suppression system. When the internal temperature of the equipment rises to 42°C or remains at that level for 5 minutes, the carbon dioxide fire suppression system will automatically activate and spray.

  4. Two 6-kg dry powder fire extinguishers are installed inside. When the temperature reaches 68°C, the dry powder fire extinguishers will automatically discharge.

  5. The fire protection system for industrial cleaning machines requires a dedicated fire-fighting power supply (220V) and must not be shared with the equipment’s main power supply. The fire-fighting power supply must remain continuously energized for extended periods.

  6. When the vacuum hydrocarbon cleaning machine is shut down for more than 2 hours, turn off the main power switch and the main gas supply.

  7. During holidays, if the equipment’s main power supply and gas source need to be maintained for more than three days, hydrocarbons inside the tank should be drained from the site and stored in a hazardous chemical warehouse. During holidays, personnel should conduct regular patrols to ensure safety.

  8. The use of rubber clamps, including various plastic slings, inside the equipment is prohibited to prevent safety hazards caused by static electricity.

Vacuum Hydrocarbon Cleaning Machine Management and Refueling Precautions:

  1. When handling hydrocarbons, take care to avoid metal friction that could generate sparks, potentially leading to combustion and explosion.

  2. Do not tap the container lid lightly with iron tools. When opening the bucket lid, use an alloy wrench that will not produce sparks during impact.

  3. During cleaning operations, metal containers must not be allowed to collide with each other, and iron drums without gaskets must not be rolled on cement floors.

  4. When adding hydrocarbon-based cleaning agents, please wear sealed goggles, long-sleeved jackets, oil-resistant gloves, and safety shoes.

  5. Use an air pump or a manual pump. The use of ordinary electric water pumps is strictly prohibited.

  6. The amount of hydrocarbons stored at the cleaning site must not exceed 200 liters. Store them inside a fire safety cabinet, away from open flames.

  7. The solvent must not come into contact with halogens, strong acids, bases, oxides, or the like, and must not be stored in the same location as these substances.
